Day 01: Pick up from your city hotel and transfer to Dar-es-Salaam Int. Airport for your flight to Selous Game Reserve, Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve covering more than 5% of Tanzania’s total area. Met upon arrival and proceed on a game-viewing drive en-route to your preferred choice of accommodation. Lunch is followed by another game-viewing drive in this wildlife Reserve boasts Tanzania’s largest population of elephant as well as largest numbers of lion, leopard, buffalo, hippo and species commonly seen are bushbuck, red and blue duiker. Yellow baboon, vervet and blue monkey are always a common sight. Endangered red colobus monkeys inhabit the west of the reserve. The birdlife in the Selous is prolific and the 400 species recorded including the globally threatened wattled crane and the corncrake. Thereafter return for dinner.

Day 02 and 03: Morning and afternoon game drives in search of game in this wilderness area varying from rolling grassy woodlands and plains, to rocky outcrops sliced by the Rufiji River the lifeblood of the park, the river offers a superb method of game viewing especially during the dry season when animals congregate.

Day 04: Breakfast and check out. Transfer to the Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Ruaha National Park covering 10, 300 kms it’s the country’s second largest park after Serengeti and the biggest elephant sanctuary. You are met on arrival and transferred to your new home for the next two nights. Enjoy a brief game drive en-route to your camp. In this remote bastion of spectacular wilderness, undisturbed wildlife, and breathtaking scenery, check-in before lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drive in this unexplored park thus a safari through the park often has the feel of a private adventure and a unique experience. For the intrepid wilderness lover and the avid safari explorer, a trip to Ruaha is uniquely rewarding and a perfect piece of Africa. Return to the camp for dinner.

Day 05: Enjoy an early morning game drive in Ruaha National park deriving its name from the Great Ruaha River which is the main feature of the park, home to hippo and buffalo venture to the river edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, Leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dogs or African Hunting dog as they should correctly be called. Return at the camp for breakfast. Relax at the lodge enjoying the camp’s facilities. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive then returning for dinner.
